Objective
Provide transparent, efficient, economical, convenient, qualitative and speedy document registration
services to the citizens with no waiting period and involving minimum human interface.
- Improving the quality of services to the citizens;
- To introduce transparent, efficient and prompt services to the people of J&K through computerized
registration system;
- To preserve and maintain the record of land property;
- Complete replacement of manual records and go paperless by using the technological landscape;
- Replacement of manual system of indexing, endorsement, accounting and reporting;
- Replacement of Tedious back office functions as automatic;
- Introduction of biometric, web camera and digital signatures for capturing thumb impression and
photographs of parties to zero the frauds and forgery;
- Use of digital signatures in registered documents and post registration services like certified
copies etc.
- Integration of all allied applications like E-stamping, JKGRAS, SMS, with the NGDRS.
- Pre-registration transparency provisions like auto-calculation of stamp duty and registration fee.
- To provide post registration facilities like searching of deeds and printing of certified copies.
- To integrate all SROs with the Survey and Land records Department under DILRMP in near
future and introduction of auto-mutation.
- As a whole the goal is to provide SMART governance to the registrant people by the best use of Information Technology.
